Frankie & Johnny was a northern soul duo from Glasgow, Scotland. Their real names were Maggie Bell and Bobby Kerr. Frankie & Johnny are best known today for their rendition of the northern soul cult classic I'll Hold You. They originally cut the song in 1966 for U.K. Hickory (also available on the album Dial 3 For Northern Soul).
