Francis d'Octobre is the stage name of Francis Roberge, a musician and singer-songwriter from Montréal, Québec. Francis was a finalist at the Festival de la chanson in 2007 and at the Francouvertes festival in 2009. As a guitarist, he has played for artists such as Louise Forestier, Catherine Major, Alfa Rococo and Les Tireux d’Roches. He favors catchy melodies and well-crafted lyrics, creating modern songs that are sincere and emotional, combining dance rhythms and soaring romanticism. Recently, he produced the latest album by Brigitte Saint-Aubin in August 2009.
