Francis Raphael Mwagutangu Kitime, was born on June 16, 1932 at Tosamaganga village, in Iringa Tanzania. He first started involving himself in music when he joined Tosamaganga Primary School where he was in the school band, then playing the clarinet. He then taught himself to play the Banjo, Ukulele, accordion, trumpet and guitar which he went on to record these songs in Easter of 1994.
