Frøst is an unsigned artist from Fort Payne, Alabama, who began posting remixes and original music to soundcloud in 2011 under the name Noxxis. With the Soundcloud release of Nocturnal in late 2013, Frøst began shifting his focus from bass music/chillwave to begin making a sound that blended his love of heavy 808s, cold atmospheres and metal guitar. Tragic City was released to Soundcloud in early 2015. Choosing then to focus on mixing and composition, the next release, Dawnless (2017), was an instrumental 'beat album' followed by Sick, a demo featuring the songs "Fleisch" and "Ocean of Darkness". Frøst began singing again with the release of Affair of the Poisons (2019). Frøst's newest album, Fangstar (2020), prominently features his vocals and guitar with an added focus on industrial/futuristic textures.
