Anne Lise Frøkedal (Born 19. july 1981), known by her stage name Frøkedal, is a folk-pop, singer-songwriter from Etne, Norway. She is famously known to be a member of acclaimed Norwegian band I Was A King and, the now defunct band, Harrys Gym. Additionally, she has been part of other musical groups such as Dharma, Lady Hardanger and Heroes & Zeros. In 2015 she debuted as a solo artist, releasing a series of singles which led to I See You EP on the very same year. she released her debut album Hold On Dreamer in 2016, which was later nominated for a Spellemannprisen for best Indie Album Of The Year 2017. Her sister is Linn Frøkedal of The Megaphonic Thrift, Misty Coast and The Low Frequency In Stereo Her second album, How We Made It will be released on 31 August via Propeller Recordings.
