about

Frédérique Spigt (Rotterdam Netherlands, 28th january 1957) started her musical career in 1985 as lead singer of "I've got the bullets" (taken from the last part of the James Dean film Rebel without a cause). With a CBS contract they've recorded "I've got the bullets" and "wounded". The band broke up in 1990. Then Frédérique sang in "Girls wanna have fun" and "A girl called Johnny", without too much success. This was the start of a variety of releases: - 1996: Frédérique spigt con la piccola orchestra. - 1998: Mijn hart kan dat niet aan (My heart can't take that, single) - 1999: Engel (Angel); sings the Nico songs with the Scapino ballet - 2000: Droom (Dream) - 2002: Beest (Beast) - 2004: Mans genoeg (Man enough) On "Mans genoeg" Frédérique sings duets, one with late Herman Brood (She came to win) - 2006: Eén kus (One kiss) - 2008: Vreemd (Strange) - 2011: Land User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
