Starting out as an idea for a movie, two kids (later to be known as Per and David) grouped together. They needed a cameraman and a drummer, and they had heard rumours about some kid named something. Anyway they chose the second best to shoot the movie, Grim! The next day Jonte called Per and said to come over to his place and hear his slammin' drum solo. Per already had ideas for music to the movie, so he thought of this as a great opportunity. When everyone first met there was a big fight about who would play which instrument on the soundtrack. David won the role of lead singer because everyone else was scared. Per was best at guitar, Jonte already played the drums and Grim ended up playing bass. When the movie finally was shot, everyone thought it sucked, so we decided to just keep on playing together.
