Fouad Abdulwahed (Arabic: فؤاد عبد الواحد; b. May 2, 1990), is a Yemeni singer. Fouad was born in Taiz Governorate, southern Yemen. His artistic talent appeared when he was young. As soon as he reached the age of sixteen, he began his artistic life by holding festivals, celebrations, and weddings, and founded the Zain band. He also participated in several external artistic conferences. He obtained high school from Taiz High School, and joined the Faculty of Arts at Taiz University, English Department, before his registration was suspended due to his participation in the Gulf Star competition on Dubai TV. After that, he joined Rotana Audio Company, which took over the production of his works. In 2010, he won the title of Gulf Star in the competition organized by Dubai TV, which lasted 13 weeks. He was crowned with the title and was handed the competition shield and a check for 100 thousand UAE dirhams. He released his first album entitled “Fouad Abdulwahed 2016 ” and included 18 songs in which he collaborated with several poets and composers from the Gulf and Yemen, most notably the artist Salah Al Zadjali. He considers the Emirati artist Fayez Al Saeed (Arabic: فايز السعيد) his spiritual father in art.
