Shortly after that they were featured in pop videos such as Pete Townsends "Uniforms", Queens "Calling all girls" and they even appeared as Fotostat on "The Model" by Kraftwerk on Top of the Pops in the spring of 1982. They also appeared in a video with Rick James and on the Russell Harty show that year. They released one single entitled "Fotostat" by Fotostat, and another single entitled "Brave New World" which appeared on English television shows. In 1985 Fotostat broke up and formed the rock band Sons of Valentino. It featured both brothers Glenn and Mark Robertson on vocals and guitars, Tony Lewis on guitar, Jeff Horner on bass and Ian Disspain on drums. They released an EP on One Big Guitar records entitled "Sons of Valentino". They played at the Marquee and various other clubs on the London club scene. They opened up for such acts as Edwin Starr and recorded tracks at EMI with Phil Lynott in Lizzy. They were then signed by an American label called Royal Recorders
