Forty Cent Fix is a punk rock band from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Born in the outskirts of Ottawa in late 1999, Forty Cent Fix began as a recording project between two friends and an attic. It was not until late 2002 that the full band was formed and played their first show at a small venue called Bumpers. In the fall of 2004, Everything In Between was released independently. The album received airplay on college radio stations around the country, and made it onto the Earshot Loud college charts in December 2004. Forty Cent Fix has shared the stage with many notable acts, including Good Riddance, Bigwig, Belvedere, Closet Monster, Protest The Hero, The Fullblast, Break the Silence, and more. In 2007, Forty Cent Fix spent two weeks at Addictive Sound in Ottawa recording "Burn This Palace" with producer Steve Rawles and engineer Dean Hadji-Christou.
