Fortune’s Wheel is an US-American ensemble, devoted to early music. The collaborators are singers Lydia Heather Knutson and Aaron Sheehan and instrumentalists Robert Mealy and Shira Kammen (vielle, harp and voice) Fortune’s Wheel made its debut at the 1996 International Festival of Early Music in Mexico City and has had appearances at a great number of early music festivals throughout the US. Their first CD, “Pastourelle”, released by Dorian Recordings in 2002, features a collection of French trouvère music.
