Forsaken Sanctum is a raw black metal band formed in February 2023. Although they started off quietly, remaining under the radar, it wasn't until October 2024 that the band began to reveal their identity to the public. Their music explores themes of isolation, anger, sadness, coldness, and depression, encapsulating the raw emotions that shape their sound. Creation of their Debut EP: The creation of Forsaken Sanctum's self-titled debut EP was a deeply personal and raw process. The band faced significant challenges, including the loss of their drummer and a broken bass amp, leaving them without a proper rhythm section. These obstacles, however, pushed the band to innovate and adapt. The EP was recorded in a minimalistic, DIY setup, embracing the imperfections that are characteristic of raw black metal. The cold, unpolished sound of the recording mirrors the struggles and emotions the band poured into the music, making the entire process as intense as the themes they explore. Despite these hardships, Forsaken Sanctum completed their debut EP, marking the beginning of their journey.
