Hailing from Dayton, OH, Formulas emerged onto the scene in early 2010 with members Jane Smith on vocals, Michael Smart and Jake Bryant on guitars, Jon Waldron on bass, and Andy Hopkins on drums. Over the last few months, the band has toured regionally and grown a loyal fan base. Recently finishing up in the studio with Producer Kevin Gates (Never Shout Never, The Ready Set, Cady Groves), Formulas unleashed their debut hard-hitting EP “Unsaid, Undone” on August 10th and are continuing to tour in support of the release. At only 16 years old, vocalist Jane Smith was quoted saying, “All of our songs were written about losing friends, gaining friends, and simply learning how to stand for what you believe in. I would say it’s about ‘growing up.’” While the other 4 members of the band just graduated high school in June 2010, the young quintet are eager to put their stamp in music and tour consistently.
