Forget About Your Train is a post-punk, slowcore, and shoegaze-adjascent artist from Mississippi. Her first album, the eponymous Forget About Your Train, was released on all streaming platforms on 20 November, 2023, taking a rough-around-the edges hardline route to shoegaze, which FAYT distanced herself from on her second album, when i'm asleep i still feel your warmth, and when i wake up i feel nothing, released on 6 June 2024. This album strays from shoegaze, taking a bit of influence from everywhere from the R&B of the Ronettes to the fuzzed out acoustic guitar of The Microphones. On her Bandcamp, she released a cover of Neutral Milk Hotel's 'King of Carrot Flowers', parts 1, 2, and 3, compiled into one track on 1 July, 2024.
