Foreigner is a British–American rock band formed in New York City in 1976. The original lineup consisted of Lou Gramm (vocals), Mick Jones (guitar), Ed Gagliardi (bass), Dennis Elliott (drums), Al Greenwood (keyboards), and Ian McDonald (multi-instrumentalist, formerly of King Crimson). Foreigner's third album, "Head Games" (1979), the first with Rick Wills replacing Gagliardi on bass, featured the singles "Dirty White Boy" and "Head Games," both reaching the US Top 20. The fourth album, "4" (1981), reached number one in the US for ten weeks and became the band's breakthrough in the UK, reaching the Top 5. Singles from "4" included "Urgent," "Waiting for a Girl Like You," and "Juke Box Hero."
