For The Perilous originated from an old steel town in central Pennsylvania. The band first started in 2007 as a means of hanging out with each other as kids. Those kids were bound to grow up and little did they know that they were building the foundations of what was to be their dreams and expectations. Today, the bands stands as a respected group, known for their hard work and relentless efforts to always settle for the best in their music For the past two years, the band has awed audiences not only for their wild actions in front of a crowd but for the musicianship as well. For The Perilous is a fusion of many different styles and influences ranging from Iron Maiden to Miss May I. The general idea behind the music is best explained with technical speed, melodic harmonies and vicious breakdowns all rolled into one. As the band grows older they never stop trying to develop their style into something that is their own. The band has held strong for many years with the change up of several faces but the idea behind the music remains the same. For The Perilous has always tried to deliver the most original sound they can provide while trying to remain within the realm of the Metal Core genre.
