“When they call my name, we will see titans fall…” For the Sake of Secrets is an energetic, rhythm driven band hailing from southeastern Massachusetts. They are extremely focused on perfecting their sound to always leave the crowd wanting more. The upbeat, but heavy musical composition is purposely meant to catch your attention and keep you hooked. Their lyrics are catchy, powerful, and intentionally easy to relate to and supported by a wide range of vocal ability between the two front men. High and low screams are intertwined with melodic singing giving them the ability to appeal to a large audience. The band’s music could be basically categorized as “hardcore,” but has small notes of related genres- pop, rock, punk, metal, etc. The band is comprised of six passionate musicians. Mike Hyland is the vocalist whose main focus is to keep the melodies flowing. Alongside him is Marcus Casey, who shares the front man spot. Marcus storms the stage with his wide rage of screaming ability all while complimenting Mike’s vocal hooks and the band’s tight rhythms. The man holding down lead guitar and bringing the shredding is Noah deVeer, to his side is always energetic, and ready to rock, Dalton Heney playing rhythm guitar. Seth Rogers can be spotted rocking to his bass lines on stage, while Tom Black is in the back on his drums playing a mean double kick.
