Hailing from Munich, Germany, fonoda released their debut LP 'Blinker:Farben' in 2002, "making an immediate impact through a sound which smelted influences such as Slint, Mogwai and Low into a crucible of sound that was both pithily melancholic yet sunny-side up optimistic." Paring down their line-up from a quad to a trio, fonoda reconvened in 2006 to record the appropriately named 'Eventually'. Florian Dölzer (or Doelzer): drums Matthias Neuefeind: guitar Christian Unertl: bass "fonoda present a version of slow core post-pop, that drones when necessary and celebrate a noise-quiet-dynamic, keeping the basics of any good song in mind: melody.
