Folk Heart is a musical project carried out by two musicians from Goiânia, David Sabbag and Mateus Carrilho. The idea came up in a very unpretentious manner, when both were working together into creating music and video. The release of their first work, August, signaled the potential success of the project, attracting Lucas Prado to join the group. Folk Heart's style has received obvious influences from folk, without being limited to this conception. "August" turned out to be the soundtrack of short film "Julie, Agosto, Setembro", directed by Benedito Ferreira and produced by Pedro Novaes, highly acclaimed film producer in Brazil.
