Fobbies Are Borange is a live radio drama based on the SNES classic, EarthBound. The character development is of the utmost importance in the series, where Ness is given ADD, Paula is addicted to cigarettes, Jeff has absolutely no emotion at all, and Poo is an aspiring Broadway star. Some NPCs are also given unique personalities and names. The show has been hailed as one of the best things to ever happen to the EarthBound community and is regarded as one of the highest-quality (and most hilarious) fan works ever created. The original idea for the show started as a skit: Stephen Georg approached Ben Carignan (DJ Katon / DJ Not-A-DJ) about appearing on his show to do a funny EarthBound related skit together in September 2007. The skit was randomly thought up and happened to be about the beginning of the game (Episode 1 - Go Into My Hole). The two agreed that a continuation every week would be pretty epic, and thus "Adventures In EarthBound" was born. Fortunately they changed the name to "Fobbies Are Borange" shortly thereafter in episode 2, where the theme song debuted as well. Later in the series a need for a third voice actor arose and Martin Tovar was hired to do the voice of Paula and other various characters, and Muhammad A-R joined later as the voice of Poo.
