On January 8, 1994, Chris Robinson and Marc Ford of The Black Crowes participated in an impromptu performance with a handful of other artists. They dubbed themselves Foamfoot and performed a one-off show at the Troubador in Hollywood where they played classic rock covers. The show was recorded for potential release, but was never officially released. High-quality bootlegs, however, have circulated widely for years among tape traders and the Black Crowes fans, in general. The lineup consisted of: Chris Robinson (vocals, harmonica) and Marc Ford (guitar) of the Black Crowes Jimmy Ashhurst (bass) of the Izzy Stradlin And The Ju Ju Hounds and (after Foamfoot) Buckcherry Andy Sturmer (drums) of Jellyfish Eric Bobo (percussion) who played with Cypress Hill and the Beastie Boys Gary Louris (guitar) of The Jayhawks. Vocals on Take The Highway David Crosby (vocals & guitar) of The Byrds and Crosby, Stills & Nash and sometimes Neil Young (CSNY), who joined the band on stage to perform the CSN classic, "Long Time Gone" The setlist included: Walk in My Shadow (Free) Bottle Of Red Wine (Eric Clapton) Tin Soldier (The Small Faces) Take The Highway (The Marshall Tucker Band) Deal (Jerry Garcia) Love Me Til The Sun Shines (The Kinks) Long Time Gone (with David Crosby) (Crosby, Stills & Nash) Jemima Surrender (The Band) One Way Out (The Allman Brothers) Presence of the Lord (Blind Faith) Chris Robinson had previously performed onstage with David Crosby in 1993, shortly afte
