fluid enc. is a six members formation from Bielefeld//Germany. Since 1998 the band is playing a powerful crossover of metal, hardcore and modern rock. Because of that complex mixture, their sound is hardly comparable to other bands. Over the years fluid enc. have made themselves a name as a powerful live act, playing support shows for known bands such as 'Such A Surge', 'Crosscut' and ' De Heideroosjes' with a rapidly growing fanbase - known as 'fluid forces' [http://www.fluidforces.de.vu] These forces easily turn every location into a steaming moshpit. The fluid enc. track 'Seeds' is one of the most popular downloads on the ChroniX Radio website for more than two years now. The recent album 'Our Unity in Downfall' contains 10 songs plus bonus-features and was recorded in 2005 in the band's own studio. Former drummer Daniel Heiss left the band shortly after the recording sessions. He has been more than worthily replaced with Christian Blaue, who can be seen in the bonus videos, also included on the recent album. Next to their driving metal riffs, the band has also shown their musical diversity during two acoustic shows in 2004 and 2005, the second one was shown on a local tv-channel.
