Flourishing was a technical death metal band that formed in 2009 in New York City. The trio bulldozers through massive magnetic riffs, industrial mechanization, realms of dissonance and loose progressive abstraction creating an annihilating rhythmic bedlam. The band officially split up in 2014. Bassist Eric Rizk and guitarist/vocalist Garrett Bussanick went on to form Aeviterne in 2015.
