Flock From Spokane is an ambient, new age noise-drone project based out of Southern Arizona. The project originated in Tennessee in 2001 and has been an ongoing work in progress ever since. The debut release from Flock From Spokane comes in the form of an epic, six-part series entitled Clouds And Canyons. The project documents over four years of the growth and progression of the themes. Clouds And Canyons, Vol. 1 was released on November 22, 2011 and the five subsequent volumes to follow. There will be a Clouds And Canyons DVD released in the future as well. The sound of Flock From Spokane is hard to describe. Combining drones, noise, ambience, avant-jazz and free-form psychedelia, the sound of Flock From Spokane transcends that of any one genre. It is strange, dark and beautiful with moments of cacophonic explosion and moments of passive ambience. Flock From Spokane can be found all over the web.
