Flight To Dubai combine ‘funk’, ‘punk’ and ‘easy listening’ music to create a sound not dissimilar to the lovechild of Red Hot Chili Peppers and Sex Pistols. This 4 piece band, hailing from Newcastle, New South Wales, Flight To Dubai give the Australian music scene a versatile alternative to mainstream artists, being able to play anything from an intimate acoustic set to an energetic, plugged in performance. Established in mid 2011, this young band has achieved a long string of accomplishments, with a more than impressive repertoire of sold out shows, as well as a very extensive following in Newcastle and the Hunter Valley. In the middle of recording their debut album, ‘Greatest Hits’, set to be released late 2013, followed by an independent tour.
