Flesh Orchard started in 2017 when drummer/lyricist Mark Shelton Loudon and guitarist/songwriter Christopher Tucker banded together to bring their love for horror and music to life. Fueled by a mutual interest in 90’s death metal, the two began recording original material in Christopher’s home studio. “It became immediately clear that we had something special after the first two demos” says Christopher, “Mark and I clicked right away, and we knew the time was perfect to bring back this classic sound.” The band was soon joined by lead vocalist Ralph Gleason, who brought his old school death metal vocals with his intensity and passion. “We had the music, lyrics and concepts covered,” recalls Mark, “But once Ralph stepped up to the microphone, there was nothing that could stop him from binding the music together. He worked and clicked immediately with Chris and I’s style, and it gave Flesh Orchard that unique edge that defines the band’s sound.” 6 months later, Flesh Orchard was joined by rhythm and co-lead guitarist Sebastian Chalfant (ex Sadistic Ritual guitarist and vocalist). "Sebastian brings the extra drive and feel that we were looking for to evolve the sound into what it is today," says Flesh Orchard. Flesh Orchard’s lyrics and songs are directly derived of horror concepts; primarily based off slasher/horror films, horror novels, and fictional dark folk lore.
