ENGLISH VERSION Named after a B-side of said Britrock band, solo artist Daniel Stenger aka 'Flashbaxx' (Aschaffenburg/Germany) decided to embark on a surprisingly varied musical career. His discovery by Mainz-based lounge label Wohnton (2003) was soon followed by several contributions to compilations (Flooristik 3, Lounge Pearls, Klassik Lounge Vol. 3), DJ gigs and concerts with his 'Sonic Soul Division' as well as commissioned work for graffiti design publications, TV spots and theatrical plays and, last but not least, his own radio show ('Creamradio' on www.ruecksitzgeneration.de). 'Over time, more and more genres and new heroes joined the mix - today I see myself as more of a genre-encompassing producer. In this I especially admire mavericks like Brian Eno, Stevie Wonder or Björk who try to do everything by themselves.' Compared to the likes of 'Nightmares On Wax', 'Café Del Mar' and 'Yonderboi' by the press, Stenger tends to prefer organic sounds with 'a dash of electronics for the right balance'. GERMAN VERSION Seit seiner Entdeckung durch das Mainzer Lounge-Label Wohnton (2003) konnte Flashbaxx schon etliche kleine und große Erfolge auf seine Pappe schreiben. Von der Fachpresse irgendwo zwischen Nightmares On Wax, Yonderboi und Cafe Del Mar eingeordnet platzierten sich seine Tracks bereits auf etliche Compilations weltweit, direkt neben Szenegrößen wie Tosca, Jazzanova, Mo'Horizon und Blumentopf.
