Flaming June were formed as an acoustic act in 2009 with Steve Calder on Violin and Clare Calder on backing vocals and whistle + guest percussion in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. Louise has been writing songs most of her life and has a wealth of material. The band have supported both Eliza Carthy and 6 Day Riot in 2010 and have a support with Ellen & The Escapades lined up for September in Cambridge. Described as "catchy, addictive and dark" and an "acoustic whirlwind" Louise gets together with her red guitar and potent heartfelt lyrics to brew up a little storm at live shows.
