Back in October of 1999 Matt Good and Michael Blanchard decided to start a punk band. They soon recruited Scott Oord Matt’s best friend to play bass. Now all they needed was a drummer. At first they had a drummer named Parker for a few weeks but that didn’t work so they recruited current drummer Steve Pullman. The band worked a set of songs and started playing parties. Faced with a scene full of Slipknot fans parties didn’t work out so well. The band went to the studio and recorded their 4 song demo.Then Mike decided to quit to turn to a life of drugs but the band went on. After recording they decided to set up a page on mp3.com. The band then started playing clubs to actual fans of punk music and got a good fanbase going.
