Firevision uses melodic synth lines to draw you into their pop world, classic grooves combined with catchy simple and positive hook lines all add up to a great debut album. They manage to cruise through pop land without selling their souls. The beats are often 80´s inspired; the grooves contain elements from French house to Uk garage. It is the perfect combo of pop elements, universal lyrics that actually say something with straightforward arrangements and beats that work at home and on the dance floor. Many of the songs have breakdowns hinting at rock glory guitar solo trippers from the 70`s the guitar is replaced by a howling synth solos from Mikko T, he always a big smile on his face while on stage firing off a solo. Mikko Tamminen and Arttu Peljo wrote all the material. Arttu sings all the lead vocals in the band. Their work together is confirmation that usually two minds are better than one, each handling the area of production and writing that they are best at. Here's how Mikko describes Arttu " that boy has golden ears." Arttu a quiet guy seems to come alive on stage; Firevision is one UK tour away from having this game down. They took part in the Finnish national final of the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest with a song called "The Stars Are On Our Side".
