Artist
Fiona Lehn forged an early reputation as a gritty independent artist who combined poetic lyrics with a passion to rock. During the mid-nineties era when women in rock were setting precedents and shredding taboos, Lehn was described by critics as a “half-folkie, half alt-rock goddess” and a “rebel in her own realm.” Billboard magazine raved about Lehn’s “Waiting For Godot” (Boarder) and launched Lehn's career to a whole new level. On her most recent project, "Sunstaring: Recovered Songs of Hero Hera," Lehn combines elements of prog and melodic rock with drama akin to Queen, Stardust, Steinman & Heart. Anthemic and unorthodox melodies, bolstering and broken-down vocals, and a mysteriously missing Hero Hera fuel Lehn's other-worldly epic. "Sunstaring: Recovered Songs of Hero Hera is due to be released in late 2006," and can be purchased now from Lehn's website www.droidfingers.com User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
