Finniston started life in 2004 as a brother sister duo playing in tiny cafes and pubs all over Scotland. They released their debut EP 'Popular Music that will live forever' on their own label Ruby Records in 2005 and shortly afterwards added to their sound with the arrival of Jamie Attridge on drums and Andrew Gifford on double bass. Their second EP 'Golden hour of strict tempo dancing' was released in 2006 and showcasing their fuller sound.. 2008 saw the release of their first and only album 'Organised for Hi Fi'. The band broke up at the end of 2008.
