There are multiple artists sharing the name Fingerprints: 1. A short lived Swedish AOR project, comprised of Bjorn Strom (vocals), Jorgen Ingestrom (keyboards) and Thomas Axelsson (bass). They released the lone album, "Time Is All We Need" in 1989. The album has since become a cult classic of sorts among fans of the genre. 2. Fingerprints, the popular Dallas based sextet, is known as “one of the best kept music secrets in the South.” For many years standing room-only crowds have been lining up to hear the perfect blend of jazz and R&B by the Fingerprints musicians at venues and music festivals throughout the South and Southwest. With five accomplished CDs to date (Fingerprints, Reunion Live, Summertime Music, DNA and the newest release Dream Life), the distinguished sound of Fingerprints has been shaped through the years by its long-term members: Frederick Nichelson (bass), Claud Hardrick (saxophone, flute, vocals), Tim Jones (lead vocals, percussion), Kennan Wylie (drums, percussion), Jordache Grant (keyboards), and Robert Lacroix (guitar). 3. Minneapolis garage rock/new wave band, active from 1974 to 1979. The group released a 7" EP and two singles on the Twin/Tone label during their existence, and began work on a full-length LP that remained unfinished when the band broke up. The band's complete recordings were eventually released in 2021 as "Where the Beat Goes On". Members moved on to bands such as Figures and The Idle Strand, and bassist Steve Fjelstad went on enginee
