FINE ART GARDEN were formed in 1987 and established themselves as a part of Fano’s (Italy) important alternative music scene. The American and English Punk Rock and Pop Rock scenes influenced FINE ART GARDEN’s sound very much REM, STOOGES, THE SMITHS, THE CULT, THE CURE e VELVET UNDERGROUND (songs were covered during the first live performances). Despite a very intense live activity that characterized the first years of FAG’s rock experience, the mutual cooperation and hard work on lyrics and music between the five members of the group let arose from drummer’s garage the first FAG’s songs. Four of them (written and performed in English) issued the first self-handled demo tape SINN FEIN in winter 1989. After their first studio experience FAG shared several studio and live compilations with famous Italian artists of the period and played live in very important theatres in Rome and Milan. In 1991 the were finalist at "J&B Talent Scout" Radio 105 Awards @ Rolling Stones in Milan. After more than 100 concerts FAG decided to stop their career and their prospects in the first half of nineties. Most of them carried on personal musical experiences with other groups.
