Fin Raziel were born outside of Bath in 2001 when the boys were 16, with brothers Alex Moon (Bass, Vocals & Synth) and Fran Moon (Drums, Sequencing), with Ben Bridges (Lead Guitar & Vocals) forming the band in secondary school, playing popular rock covers at school events. Meeting initially at a music summer school, James (Vocals, Guitar, Piano & Sequencing) joined the band slightly later to play rhythm guitar, and through their shared influences and enthusiasm the band quickly found that together they could quickly build a strong performing relationship. After securing rehearsal space in an old pub bowling alley, with cheap as hell guitars; a Β£10 mic; a stolen keyboard and an antique PA full of leaves that was prone to overheating; the band began to write a collection of songs and played small venues around Bath and Bristol, bringing a mix of acoustic rock, progressive indie and popular contemporary covers. Following graduation after several years of playing together, the band relocated to Guildford, Surrey in order to begin playing gigs in and around London, while Fran and Ben followed drum and guitar courses at the famous Surrey Academy of Contemporary Music, Europe's leading school for rock and pop musicians. The band recorded a debut EP with the fantastic local producer Stu Churchill (Sound Corruption) and playing around Guildford, Surrey and London in popular venues.
