Following the bands birth in early 2012, Filthy Lucre have charged through the years relentlessly, playing shows across Australia including support spots for internationally renowned acts such as Truckfighters (SWE), Tex Perkins, Ash Grunwald, Dallas Frasca, Jon Toogood, Mia Dyson, Jackson Firebird, and The Beards. 2015 saw the band travel to the United States in October to record their debut 14-track album "Mara" in Ashland, Oregon with internationally renowned producer Sylvia Massy (Tool, System of a Down, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Prince, Johnny Cash), due for release on 30th January 2016.
