FiliaMotsa is a French eccentric drums and electric violin duo born in spring 2007 in Nancy, Lorraine, France. On a ring of a few square meters, two musicians wrestle in a soft and brutal gushes, where the combat unit binds in implacable music pieces. The energy of this rock duo draws its sources from uncontrolled noise improvisation, psychedelic sixties and seventies, and binary of primal and revanchist grunge. In summer 2008, after one year touring in France and in Belgium, the duo won a young competition and spent six weeks in North America where they could play in such mythical places as Casa del Popolo at Montréal.
