BIO: FiliTico begins his DJ journey in 2003 hosting a weekly Psytrance show, “The Beat Monger” at Owl Radio (Florida Atlantic University) in South Florida, USA. Soon after, he’s organizing parties at club Ninety9 in Boca Raton and spinning in the infamous Club Exit in Fort Lauderdale. After several impromptu gigs in abandoned warehouses and parks with some happy-go-lucky ravers, FiliTico opens for Astral Projection, icons of the Goa Trance World at “Blue” in North Miami in 2005. He breaks into the pirate airwaves of Radio Superstar in Fort Lauderdale dropping beats every Saturday night until it closed in late 2006. The next year marks his first entry into the bigger party scene playing in the Eco-Village at Ultra Music Festival during Winter Music Conference Week while getting soaked in a sudden thunderstorm. FiliTico drops back for seconds a year later playing at Ultra’s UMF Collective tent. In 2009 FiliTico resurfaces in Ecuador with a new style: deep, sexy and progressive house at the Guayaquil Fashion Week and at Diva Nicotina, a cultural icon for alternative music in Guayaquil. He then joins forces with Levitium Records as a DJ instructor at the label’s music school and spins at some of the largest open-air events in town, opening for Patrick M (Miami) [Sunglasses at Night] and Aldo Cadiz (Chile) [Levitium Fest] alongside many local legends including George Levi, Jose Wated, Encebolladoman, and Roberto Serrano.
