File Foreli are two young men from St. Petersburg. One plays the guitar, the other keyboard. They both sing. Unlike many Russian bands who play dance music and like fashion, File Foreli are not shy about their native language. Their songs are ironic and romantic at the same time as when you have Tsoi. It's not easy to compare them with someone else. In general, it's pretty sweet dance-rock with strong influences of the 80's. Their music is on the verge of new wave and electro-pop, but they miraculously avoid to copy western counterparts, while maintaining exceptional originality, which is completely contrary to modern trends in club.
