Fil Ge was born of American-Caribbean decent and is from the multi-cultural melting pot of Los Angeles. He sang in the choir as a boy and found himself fascinated with people from different racial and cultural backgrounds. At a young age, Fil began traveling and singing the gospel in Mexico, Central and South America. Influenced by people he met during his travels, Fil became fluent in both Spanish and Portuguese. He continued singing and learned to combine different kinds of music including Pop, R&B, and Hip Hop with the pulsating rhythms that reflects his Caribbean roots.
