Figure Five

Figure Five was a instrumental post-rock outfit hailing from Fayetteville, Arkansas. The duration of the band lasted only from 1999 to 2001 in which the group produced a seven song EP entitled, "Long Division with Roman Numerals." The EP was recorded at the now defunct Zero Return Studios in Atlanta, GA after befriending Robert DelBueno of Man or Astroman?. The member line-up included guitarist Shane Kinneil who later fronted the Fayettville, AR based pop-rock group Brighter Later, percussionist Andy Dyer who joined up with a group of Fayetteville intellectual post-rockers to form The Tickle, and bassist Abram Morphew who now composes half of the Brooklyn, NY based project, The Binary Marketing Show.
