Fight The Current is an Acoustic Rock/Alternative band formed in Seattle, Washington in 2007. It is the brainchild of songwriter James Reber. They released their debut album, "Hold Tight" in 2008. The band began as a collaboration called C-Side between Reber and fellow Seattle songwriter Matt Bekker. After a number of lineup changes including Bekker's departure, the band has settled into a permanent arrangement: James Reber (Lyrics/Guitar), Tim Tourje (Vocals, Guitar), Alex Buck (Bass), and Tate Erickson (Drums). After the release of their second album, titled "Broken,"The newly established four-piece hit the ground running early this summer by sharing the stage with popular artists The Classic Crime and Marcy Playground, After the third consecutive performance at Seattle's highly acclaimed "Shoxbox," the band continues to see much success in reaching fans and sharing their music. Fight the Current is currently writing and hopes to start recording their next full-length album in early 2010.
