Fetén Fetén is a new musical project presented by Diego Galaz and Jorge Arribas. The melodies they propose in this show are mostly original compositions by both musicians, which offer a journey through popular music, both traditional and cabaret, as well as various other styles that have influenced this remarkable duo. Waltzes, fandangos, boleros, tarantellas, Mediterranean sounds, Eastern European rhythms and influences of the music of central Spain, mostly Castilian, are some of the key ingredients of this concert. In addition to this, original instrumentation is chosen for this performance. Besides the violin and accordion, the main instruments which identify both musicians, they have included the gentle and evocative sound of the musical saw, the magic melodies of trumpet violins (aka Stroh violin), the sweet timbre of the vibrandoneon, metallophone, mandolin, etc. This is the ideal music to smile, dance or get excited with these two young composers. http://www.fetenfeten.net User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
