-One of Swedish music scene's most sought after singer, songwriter and producer Fernando Fuentes releasing his own material- To the public he´s almost unknown even though he as a songwriter and performer has achieved success and Gold/double platinum discs in his work together with swedish artists like Christian Walz "Like Suicide", David Lindgren "Shout It Out", "Skyline" and Ulrik Munther "Requiem" to name a few. Now he releases his own material. First up is the single "The Other Side" (release 20 August.) Fernando was born in Santiago in 1980 and came to Sweden as a 3 year old. Fernando grew up in a musical family where percussion and dance were a matter of course. As early as 5 years old he was playing bongos and at the age of 7, he won his first dance competition. With his unique voice and infectious energy, the livestage has become like a second home for Fernando. He has participated in Kylie Minogue's European tour as a percussionist and has been acclaimed for his solo singing in tribute to the king of pop Michael Jackson at Alcazar hit shows Disco Defenders at Rondo in Gothenburg. Fernando also played the role of film actor Joe Pesci in the successful musical Jersey Boys. Fernando can be described as rhythm and harmony based artist who loves to work with multiple layers of voices and percusive instruments.
