With their emotional lyrics and screaming guitar harmonies, this South Jersey five-piece plays high-energy rock with overtones of indie and punk. A recent win of the national Garageband.com / Verizon Wireless "Face Off" competition has vaulted them into the spotlight, and their September 2007 release 'Reaching The Red Line' is capitalizing on that. Clean melodic vocals, catchy hooks and fast, technical harmony guitar lines are mixed together with some softer indie sounds including an acoustic track to conclude the record. Produced by Chad Blinman (Saves The Day, The Get Up Kids, Face to Face, From Autumn to Ashes) and recorded at King Size Soundlabs (Built To Spill, Wayne Kramer, Wilco), 'Reaching The Red Line' is quickly developing an enormous fanbase for Fell Far Behind. Born in 2001, Fell Far Behind has since proved themselves to be one of the most hard-working, ambitious, and talented upcoming bands in New Jersey. Their existence began with a six song demo recorded at a local studio, followed by a four song EP - Chasing the Dream, recorded at the one and only Big Blue Meenie Studios in Jersey City (Thursday, Taking Back Sunday, Madball). These self-released recordings, combined with the bands dynamic, and musically crisp, live performances, earned the band a solid fan base and a record deal with NJ indie label - PumpkinEater Records.
