"Prior to dipping his toes into the deep sea of jagged, jacking, tech tinged rhythms, Montréal native Adam Feingold first rose to prominence on the local front as part of psychedelic indie rock outfit The Breezes. Since turning his analog steering wheel towards playful acid house and snarling techno, Feingold has shown a knack for juiced up distortion administered with warmth and grace. Closely affiliated with promising local imprints Forbidden Planet and Booma Collective, Feingold joined the Apron Records stable last year, releasing a solid debut EP that mirrored label head Funkineven’s hybrid penchant for squiggling acid lines and streetwise techno. As we await Feingold’s anticipated debut LP and soon-to-be-launched label, Temple, he will storm MUTEK’s Nuit Blanche event with a funky onslaught of harsh hardware, murky melodies and debauched beat patterns."
