Fee Mon Kou is a folky, funky blend of acoustic rock based out of Raleigh, NC. They were formed in the summer of 2009 by frontman Philip H. Mancuso on vocals, guitar, and banjo. Other members include Kyle blochl on mandolin, Ian Surra on bass, Christopher Leslie on alto sax, Aaron Leventhal on trumpet, Forrest Britton on lead guitar, Nathan Spain on drums, and Gabe Reynolds on keys. After a series of shows throughout the second half of 2009, Fee Mon Kou finally hit the home studio in mid-December and released the 5 song ep, "the Fish EP" at their holiday concert on 12-20-2009.
