You may know Fede as the drummer and percussionist for Chancha Via Circuito's live band, having made a reputation around the world for his rhythmic virtuosity and trademark broken beats. Following "Hologramas the captivating opening track on Shika Shika's "Mare Insularum" compilation. "De aquí hasta aqui" is Fede's first full- length release. On it he shares with us his complex, poly-rhythmic universe through nine tracks uniting his own South American origins, with African rhythms and featuring collaborations with Rodrigo Gallardo, Pablo Paz, Wen, Manu Quintana, Klik & Frik and Chancha via Circuito. Shika Shika Collective For years he has been one of the most versatile Latin American percussionists on the circuit, leaving an imprint with his playing that has helped shape the sound of this alliance between electronic and traditional global music; a true alchemist of the drumheads who has become an ally and permanent member of the live band with which Chancha Via Circuito has toured the world.
