Favequaid ~ Palmero, Italy Desert Rock/Stoner Rock/Hard Rock Facebook Favequaid was born in 2008 in Palermo, Sicily, from the meeting of Giorgio Fazio (drums) and Massimiliano Bellavia (guitars). Soon Gabriele Prestifilippo (voice) joins the band, and after some lineup changes, the project finds its stability with Gabriele Provenza (bass guitar). The sound of this band is a sort of gritty '70's inspired Hard rock, also influenced by stoner, doom, and grunge from '90's and '00's. Influences include: Black Sabbath, Kyuss, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Cream, ZZ Top, Jimi Hendrix, Red Fang, Colour Haze, Queens of the Stone Age, Truckfighters, Unida 2014 the band begins composing and developing a sound of its own, which is the matrix of their first, self-produced LP "Favequaid".
