Fauxpas was formed in 1992 by Dave Watson, Eric Collins, Eric Bilodeau, and Jeff Zielinski. All four of these guys from the Springfield, Massachusetts area. Around the same time Aaron Lewis (Staind) was kicking around town with his acoustic guitar and J. Mascis (Dinosaur Jr.) was floatiing around Amherst. Although together for less than 2 years, they made their mark in that scene. All four musicians are still writing and playing with other people.
